Sounds delicious. Unfortunately I'm diabetic, so not for me. Maybe add some cinnamon? It's supposed to be good for blood sugar control.

I wish I could ever ask my grandma how she made those mint-roast potatoes (Aaloo pudina Sabut) - a typical Himachali delicacy. This is actually an amazing way to capture such 'knowledge' before it gets too late.

you know, this reminds me of my grandmothers secret recipe for 'bamba' - i think she coined the name as well ;) it is made out of boiled raw mango, with mustard... its tangy n spicy...
